I grew up in East Northport and started practicing yoga in high school. Even when I moved to the city for work, I continued to study and practice yoga. In 2006, I received my 200 Hour Yoga Certificate from Yoga Works NYC after training with renowned instructors Jodie Rufty, Jenny Arthur, and Alan Finger.
In the years that followed, I began teaching yoga and honed my skills by pursuing the 500 Hour Teaching Certificate from Yoga Sutra NYC in 2010. The program was led by a team of accomplished trainers, including Guta Hedewig, Jill Cammera, Edwin Bryant, Chase Bossart, and Adrienne Burke, all of whom helped me to fine-tune my skills and develop a deeper understanding of yoga. Additionally, I have had the privilege of studying under Jason Crandell, Srivatsa Ramaswami, Rodeny Yee and Todd Norian, all of whom have been instrumental in my development as a yoga instructor.
Since returning to East Northport in 2011, I have been teaching yoga locally and privately. I am proficient in Vinyasa, Hatha, Alignment, and Classical Methods in the Krishnamacharya lineage. I take pride in my ability to teach anatomy-based alignment and creative vinyasa flow, and I am grateful to have had the support of Pamela Shannon, who encouraged me to pursue teaching in the early 2000s.
As a lifelong student and practitioner of yoga, I have always aspired to have my own studio in which I could share my love and knowledge of yoga with others. I am thrilled to finally have a studio in my hometown of East Northport, and I look forward to creating a community of like-minded individuals who are passionate about yoga and its many benefits.

My goal is to inspire others with my passion for yoga and help them achieve their physical and life goals. I have been practicing yoga for 11 years and specialize in Ashtanga yoga. Prior to discovering yoga, I trained in Tibetan Lama Pai and Choy Li Fut Kung Fu and received my black belt in 1999. As a former college pitcher, I have always been committed to physical fitness and have trained my body through weight lifting, CrossFit, running, and healthy eating. These experiences have influenced my teaching style, which is energetic and engaging.
